This tour starts from Paro. After seeing the beautiful places in and around Paro we will head towards the valley of Haa.The Haa valley is a steep north south valley and lies to the west of Bhutan . Rice, Potatoes and Chilies are the main cash crops here. 78% of Haa is dense forest. The valley was opened for tourism only in 2002. Haa is beautiful with the view of green from every stand point and has been for a long time, the epicenter of trade between Bhutan and Tibet . A river runs right through the Haa valley and is very useful for irrigation purposes. The valley is very much agriculture based and this has been a way of life and the main occupation of people for centuries. The Haa valley is adorned with beautiful and small monasteries all around especially up the hills that surround the valley. This trek will take us across some of the highest passes in the world and although the trek maybe a little difficult it is also an enjoyable one
