Included:
An experienced local leader will be made available you can even have local guides at some sites.
•All transportation, accommodation, sightseeing and meals are as indicated.

Not Included:
•International flights, arrival and departure transfers, departure and airport taxes, visas, all other meals, all optional tours or activities during free time, transfers outside of the tour program, travel insurance, tips and items of a personal nature.

Local Payment:
Your tour leader will collect US$119 from each person on the first day. It is to be paid in cash, in Chinese Renminbi (also known as 'yuan'), to your tour leader at the start of your trip. The amount to be paid is the USD amount indicated in the brochure and your invoice, at the daily rate of exchange. Your tour leader will be happy to assist you in obtaining local currency for this purpose.
•The local payment is the final part of your overall tour cost. It is to be paid in cash, in the currency indicated, to your tour leader at the start of your trip. Having a local payment helps us to pass cost savings on to you.
•Please note that the Local Payment is non-refundable.

Meals:
Allow at least US $150 for meals. On tour we generally do not include meals, as this gives you the flexibility to go out and make your own choices as far as what to eat and where to go and eat. This flexibility reflects the very nature of our tours. Your tour leader will always be on hand to offer recommendations and, in many cases, organise group meals that introduce you to the local specialities. These meals are optional.

Fitness:
A reasonable level of fitness is required for this holiday. Please be aware there will however be some long days travelling on the train, where you will be sitting down for extended periods. On the other hand, you will be trekking for three days in tiger Leaping Gorge. Participants should be in good health; anyone with respiratory or cardiac problems, or over the age of 55, should fully consult their medical adviser prior to booking and we may require full medical clearance.

Pre and post accommodation:
• If you wish to extend your holiday by booking some pre or post tour accommodation please consult us or discuss with your travel agent for assistance regarding details and prices when you book your trip.

Airport transfer :
• If you are arriving into the joining city by air you may find it easier to book an airport transfer with us, because the airports are often very crowded and negotiating a taxi can be tiresome work.

Optional extras and sightseeing:
Dali
• Horse riding (without guide) - CNY 70 per day (USD $9)

Kunming
• Bamboo Temple Entrance Fee + Taxi - CNY 15 + 40 (USD $2 + $5)

Traveler’s Information :
During the trip we arrange for shared accommodation which means two people will be accommodated in one room. Thus for groups which are in odd numbers one of your team mates who is not sharing the accommodation, will be liable to extra charge on accommodation.

Everything else will be as per the specified rates.
