Itinerary Details

Day 1: Kathmandu
On your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, you will be received and transferred to your Hotel. We will then have a small briefing about the entire trip. You will be given a lot of practical information about how to utilize your time perfectly in Nepal and also about what to expect and what not to. While you are in Kathmandu you will be able to see all its charm in full glory. It is a beautiful city with an exciting harmony of the old and the new. This city has a wonderful history that dates back to almost 2500 years.
In the afternoon we will take a guided tour of the Swayambhunath Stupa, held holy by both the Buddhists and the Hindus equally. The sightseeing will continue till the evening. You will also be able to visit the famous Durbar Square which was the hub for hippies in the early 70’s. Today there is a wonderful museum that might amuse you (D)

Day 2: Kathmandu
In the morning we will set out for the Pashupatinath Temple, the guardian deity of the Kathmandu Valley and one of the most revered temples of Hindus all over the world.
This temple is located on the banks of the Bagmati River. Here you will have a chance to see the last rites of the Hindus. We will then move towards the Boudhanath Stupa. This is a site revered by the Buddhists and the surrounding areas are inhabited by Tibetan refugees. There are a lot of Buddhist art and craft items for sale at the surrounding areas. We will then move towards Patan in Lalitpur. Patan is a real treat for any curious visitor. It has temples, palaces, ancient houses, centuries old alleyways and great newari cuisine serving restaurants. It is believed that the city was built after the Buddhist Drama Chakra (the wheel of righteousness). There are four Stupas around Patan which was built about by the Indian emperor Ashoka. We will be visiting the Durbar Square which houses the Krishna Temple, Golden temple statues of bronze (B)
Day 3: Chitwan National Park
We will take a 30 minute flight to the Chitwan National Park, right after breakfast. After you land at the Bharatpur airport, you will be transferred to your lodge. After some rest we will take a small excursion to a neighboring village. Halt overnight at the lodge (BLD)

Day 4: Chitwan National Park
After breakfast we will head for the National park. The park is home to some of the most endangered animals on earth. This is perhaps one of the most wonderful sanctuaries in the world due to its dense nature and numerous animals living safely in the remote parts of the jungle. The one horned Rhinoceros, Tiger, Leopard, different species of wild cats, elephants, sloth bear, gaur, wild boar, crocodiles, rhesus monkeys, pythons and the king cobra find shelter in this beautiful park. There are also about 350 species of birds which includes peacocks and eagles living here.   You can have the pleasure of riding the tamed Asian Elephant and explore the Jungle. A jungle safari is almost incomplete without an elephant back ride. You will have an opportunity to see the wonderful one horned Rhino which is one of the most endangered species in the world. Canoes are also available across the Rapti River. You can see fresh water dolphins and crocodiles this way. But there's no need to worry because the crocodile will not attack you unless provoked (B/L/D) 

Day 5: Pokhara
We will go for a short bird watching tour in the morning and then make a drive towards the beautiful lake town of Pokhara. The landscape all along the path is a continually varying delight for the eye and your heart as there are wonderful rock canyons and rivers, undulating hills, terraced rice paddy fields and striking views of the Himalayas at its backdrop. Pokhara is a beautiful town in western Nepal and has been constantly attracting tourists. The places in and around Pokhara are the most admired destinations in Nepal apart from Kathmandu. It’s a beautiful region with beauty in its most natural form and serves as the base for some of the most popular treks in Nepal and world. There are views of the unbelievable Annapurna range that comprises of the famous Annapurna I to IV plus Annapurna South, and the magnificent Machhapuchhare popularly known as the ‘fishtail’ mountain. In Pokhara, the evening is a great time to walk along the shores of the Fewa Lake (B)

Day 6: Pokhara
Today early in the morning we will be driving to Sarangkot for the wonderful view of the sunrise. There are a lot of things to do and see in Pokhara. We will start by taking a boat ride in the calm moss green water of the Fewa Lake. You can also swim or take a canoe across this beautiful lake. There are a lot of hotels and restaurants with interesting themes around the lake. You can also visit the Tibetan Handicraft Centre and later to Devil’s fall.

Day 7: Kathmandu
We will take an early morning flight to Kathmandu. Once we reach Kathmandu, you will be transferred to your hotel. You can either rest or go for some shopping (B/D)

Day 8: Departure
The tour ends here. You will be transferred to the airport for departure (B)
