Itinerary Details

Days 1-2 : Kathmandu
We kick start the trip on arrival at Kathmandu. Since no activities are planned, you can arrive at your own time. A briefing of the trip will be given by the tour guide. We will begin by our visit to Boudhnath Stupa; a place of worship for the Buddhist, the shrine is one of great importance to the Buddhist religion. Here we shall visit monasteries and watch the monks in prayer. We will continue and make our way to Pashupatinath temple, considered one of the holiest sites dedicated to Lord Vishnu. This temple holds great importance as a place of worship to the Hindus. It forms a major part of the people on a day to day basis. Here you can watch devotes offering prayers and watch the activities that are undertaken in the temple premises. The rest of the afternoon you can engage in relaxing and shopping.

Day 3 : Pokhara
Early morning we drive out through the Kathmandu Valley and then descend to follow the Trishuli River Valley. On a clear morning views of the Ganesh, Manaslu and Annapurna is visible as we head west to the town of Pokhara. We arrive in the early afternoon and check into our hotel. The rest of the afternoon, feel free to explore the numerous cafes and restaurants in the lakeside or maybe just relax and take a boat out to the Fewa Lake.

Day 4 : Birethanti
We advance to Naya Phul by bus where we shall begin our we trek along the banks of the Modi river , our night stop is at Birethanti. On clear weather you can get a glimpse of the southern Annapurna range and Machhapuchare.

Day 5 : Ghandruk 4-5 hours walking approx.
We trek across rice fields and stoned stairways to the village of Ghandruk. This trek is an expanse of nature at its finest, from the vegetated fields to the beautiful mountains. It is as close as you can get to nature and dwell amongst it.

Day6 : Pothana -6 hours walk
A bit of steep descent and uphill climb, as strenuous as it may appear it is equally rewarding. We will make our way through the village of Landruk and the pass, Bhichok Deurali. Before reaching Pothana, our stop for the night we will pass through forest of oak and rhododendron, an exceptional sight that will keep you fresh.

Day 7 : Pokhara - 3 hours walk
We descend through the forest to Dhampus. Here you can get a great view of the 8000-metre peak of Manaslu . We descend steeply into the Yamdi Khola river valley to Phedi. We will aboard our transport to Pokhara. We arrive for a late lunch and the rest of the afternoon is yours for the taking. We have time to explore the Fewa Lake, Pokhara’s pioneer landmark and to enjoy the lakeside breeze and restaurants.

Day 8 : Seti River Rafting
We leave Pokhara advancing towards the Seti River for our rafting experience. In the morning we drive towards the Trishuli River and meet with our rafting team. After a brief introduction and a few safety measures we begin our rafting experience. For the next two days we will be rafting for approximately 30 kms passing through splendid scenery and a few small rapids. You will be served lunch along the whitewaters and can enjoy swimming. We will camp for the night
Meal plan included: 1 Lunch and 1 Dinner

Day9-10 : Chitwan
In the morning after breakfast we continue to raft and will reach the confluence of the Trishuli River at Gai Ghat where we transfer by bus to Chitwan.In Chitwan we engage in jungle activities, which include elephant ride through the jungle, with the opportunity to observe wildlife in their natural habitat, it is likely that you will see rhinos, bears, deer and numerous birds. If lucky you may even see the tigers taking a stroll through the jungle. Other optional activities include jeep, canoe or walking safaris and bird watching
Meal plan included: 1 Breakfast

Day 11: Kathmandu
Early morning we will drive back to Kathmandu. We will lunch along the way or you may choose to carry snacks with you on your bus ride. We will check into a hotel and relax.

Day 12 : Depart Kathmandu
Around morning our trip comes to an end. You may choose to extend your vacation or join another of our trips.
